It won’t be long before we’ll need to look for a new calendar. Designers are already scratching their heads looking for new ideas for their clients’ calendars. And entrepreneurs are putting together calendars to give away to their customers.
Well, there are a number of creative calendars out there. Some unique, visually appealing and interesting; and some not so user-friendly, but a great source of fresh ideas.
Magnetic calendar

Eternal, easily customized magnetic calendar; even comes with a 32nd day of the month, just in case. The months are abbreviated to three letters and the discs can be placed on top of one another. An appealing feature of this calendar are the special discs, such as "Deadline", "Arrival", "Departure", five "Drink Day" discs, and one "Don't Drink Day".

This fun little project is a calendar that displays the daily hours of sunshine 30 years ago, projected onto the year 2008. Screenprint, 100×70cm.
Dupont - Corian Calendar
The big event - Corian 40 years/40 designers was created to recognize the input designers have and continue to have on Corian products. NKD was one of 40 designers worldwide to create the desktop calendar for Corian.
Calendar wallpaper
A wallpaper that also functions as a calendar.
Chalkboard Wall Calendar
The entire wall is coated with chalkboard paint for more memos. Start with a base coat of store-bought black chalkboard paint, then mix in varying amounts of white chalkboard paint for lighter squares.
