Simple ways to make your home feel like a spa

We all have days when our brains are foggy with the stress from everyday life. Sometimes it’s hard to disengage.
To help your mind and body recharge, create a haven within your home to encourage creativity and happiness to bloom.
With a few small changes to your surroundings, you can wake up feeling energized and positive. Here are some tips on creating a tranquil ambiance at home.

Light scented candles
Find a fragrance you like, and let it fill the room. For me, blood orange is one of the most relaxing scents out there. Its sweet, fresh aroma brightens my mood like morning sunshine.

Bring the outside in
Enliven your home with living greenery and fresh-cut plants. It’s like having your very own secret garden.
If flowers are too feminine, opt for greenery in glass bottles.

A floral note
Indulge yourself with flowers — even if it’s just a small vase — and surprise yourself with the difference it makes to the ambience ... and your mood.
Small additions can have a big impact.
