Every year, Lavazza chooses one of the world’s best photographers to create an extraordinary calendar. It is always a piece of inspired photographic art.
In my opinion, you can give anyone professional equipment, beautiful models, and a gorgeous location, but only a visionary can create a magical moment frozen in time.
Here are the Lavazza calendars for the past two years:

"Italianity"
Featuring iconic Italian landmarks and culture. Photographed by Annie Leibovitz {one of the greatest photographers ever}
If you have the time, check out Lavazza's flash site. It is beautifully designed and easy to navigate and you can peek at the actual shoot, both in stills and a video.

“Not seeing it as a photograph—because I had spent years, decades, looking at everything as if it was a photograph. She raised her hands to form a makeshift frame near my face. “There’s my rectangle, there you are, I’ve taken the picture,” she said.
“It’s not like you stop taking pictures. It’s just you’re not picking up the camera to do it.”

"The Most Majestic Experience". In Lavazza's own words, is dedicated to important, aristocratic and determined women, women who feel like queens - in other words, all women. It shows an enchanted and precious world in which queens are surrounded by jewellery, silk, velvet and freely roaming animals proudly reign. Photographed by Finlay Mackay
