AutoCAD for Mac has been released and it’s ready to download.
I’d heard it was coming, and I got all excited over a brief glimpse a while back. Well, the wait is finally over...
It’s even better news for students, who can download the software with a free three-year worldwide license or pay a nominal fee to remove the ‘education edition’ watermark.... Note ...
If you are having trouble installing it, here are some tips:
- The system language needs to be in English, or it will CRASH!
- Run system preferences / language & text and in the language bar choose English and put it on first place.
- Then reboot or re-log-on to your Mac
- Run Disk Utility... verify the disk... then restart your computer.
- If you get stuck at the splash screen, try uninstalling; delete all AutoDesk folders, then reinstall.
