home office

Do you need a compact office, but don’t have a lot of space?
My friend has a tiny home office jammed with stuff, which she wants to rearrange. She adores gray, black and white, and a vintage look, which is why I chose this colour scheme.
- These pretty felt boxes are perfect for keeping little treasures or recycled paper and manage to look beautiful at the same time.
- Glass drawer handle

- A neat storage solution is a must. With help from matching storage boxes, magazine holders and stylish stationery, you can easily set up a beautiful office space.

- The Noir Clock has a sophisticated look that will work great for the office or home.

- Try a traditional dial telephone for a classic vintage look.

Here are some more ideas to turn a little nook into your home office.

Doors aren’t always essential; try curtains as a divider, adding warmth and texture to the room. They don’t need to match the sofas or carpets. Try contrasting tones for a bold statement or deep colours for romance. Paint the inside of a closet with a different colour for an interesting look.
Another option from Pottery Barn to transform your walls: molding shelves to display and showcase frames or collections of your favorite accessories.

Wooden shutters can be just as functional and good-looking indoors as out. This refinished trio hangs on the wall. Their louvres are a perfect (not to mention plentiful) spot to tuck invitations, display artwork, or hang a message pad.
