Three years ago, I met a British lady who had a scrapbook full of ideas for her dream home. My job was to turn her ideas into reality. The project is well and truly finished, of course, but last week she invited me to visit her to see how she has enjoyed living in her dream home.
I was honestly flattered to be invited back and quite touched that she should think of me after so long. It was great to see her, and the house, again and pretty amazing to see my original designs transformed into brick and plaster.

Unfortunately she asked me not to publish any photos of the house as she wants to keep it personal and I totally respect that.
What I can share here is the moodboard and the colour scheme that I put together for her. It was truly a pleasure to work with her and it’s nice to know that our relationship has endured past the project that brought us together.
The absolute best thing about a project like this is to be a part of making someone’s dream come true; to see a smile on a client’s face is very rewarding for any designer.

That's truly wonderful... when I was a decorator, I was so young... no one really let me design anything for them. I think it's awesome that you're able to share your talent with your clients, and that they really appreciate it. :-)
What a gorgeous inspiration board! Shame the client was uncomfortable sharing pics, but it's great that you were able to see what you helped to create.
Hi Shari, when I started as a junior designer, I didn't design anything just working on drafting, moodboard and learning from senior designers. That's just happen to any beginners. After so many years, the reward will payback all the hard work. We just have to keep working and carry on :)

Thank you, I'm glad that you like the moodboard. Lots of my clients ask not share their house to public, because they have some valuable items, some antiques furniture in their home and for security reason. I do understand that. But they allow me to keep photos for my filing only. I do appriciatiate that. And the invitation to go back makes me over the moon.
